Harp Hire & Harp Teachers

The School will gradually create a library of Loan Harps and affordable Hire Harps to support more Scottish harp teachers and young players.

As our harp making students begin to create high quality harps at the School, we will keep those instruments as loan & rental harps to support more harp teachers and young players. This will take time, but will gradually build into a significant resource.
After the first two years we will have 18 harps available ( 3 on free loan and 15 to rent ) … and this will gradually grow, so that after ten years we will have 90 harps available ( 15 on free loan and 75 for rent ).

Hire Harps

Professional Quality Harps will be available to hire at £40 per month ( half the £80 commercial rate for this professional quality instrument).

We will set up a Hire Harp Portal on this page, when harps are available.

Loan Harps

Our free loan harps will be made available to those with a genuine need, and priority will be given to young players who have already demonstrated some talent and ideally need to progress on to a professional quality instrument.
