We would like to encourage our students to develop interesting projects & outreach work, to connect with the wider Scottish harp community and to actively nurture more interest in harp making and harp playing.

Our first suggestion, for example, is for students to design a simple & affordable kit harp, which could be used for schools, or one-off harp making/playing courses, or for harp festival workshops, to involve more people in harp making & playing.

And below is a picture of an interesting past project, to create a harp built into the stair wall of a children's hospital.
