Located in the beautiful Stobo Valley, 28 miles from Edinburgh, the Scottish School of Harp Making is dedicated to passing on the knowledge & skills required to create fine quality Scottish harps.

well-equipped workshops in the Old School, Stobo.

Our aims

The Scottish School of Harp Making has two principal aims …

… To pass on knowledge & skills to a new generation of makers, with a training course which is accessible and affordable to all students

To create a growing library of high quality loan & rental harps to support more Scottish harp teachers and young Scottish harp players
